Meta Pixel Tracking & Your Privacy
Our website uses the Meta Pixel to help us understand how users interact with our site and to provide relevant advertising. This tracking technology allows us to measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts while respecting your privacy choices.
How Limited Data Use (LDU) Works
To comply with privacy regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we have enabled Limited Data Use (LDU) settings for users located in California. LDU restricts how Meta processes certain data and limits the storage and use of your personal information for targeted advertising.
Meta’s LDU settings rely on a combination of:
- Geolocation data (to detect users in California)
- User-provided signals (such as opt-out preferences)
When LDU is active, Meta processes your data under a more restricted framework, reducing the amount of personal information used for ad targeting.
